Despite small squalls and threatening clouds, the Learning Council and local vendors kicked off the warm season with the first outdoor Arbol Farmers Market of the year. The event will run weekly into October and feature local produce, art, and live music, such as the North Fork Valley Community & Parade Band, who treated market-goers on Tuesday to several songs and a parade down Orchard Avenue.

Delivery Day included donations to the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation, including food, clothing, and pet supplies. The donations will support the tribe’s food and nutrition program, which educates children about new fruits and vegetables.
